It has been a crazy week of thunderstorms and rain. On one hand it is a good thing, because I have so much packing to do since we are moving into a new house this coming Friday, but on the other hand haven’t been able to get out as much.
Due to the move, I only have one image this week but I really like it. Finally got a little break from all the weather and I went for a stroll to take a breather from packing. There is a lot of water build up around the area and I found this lovely tree and fell in love with the reflection and all the colors/ textures from the water and everything around. The only processing on this photo is just a bit of exposure, contrast and a tiny bit of saturation (oh yes and a little vignette). There are no textures added to this photo and I just love how much texture I see in it.
Hopefully I can survive the rest of this week packing my heart away with four munchkins at my knees and be ready for the new place
I really hate loathe moving but there is one thing I am looking forward to…I am beyond excited to explore a new neighborhood and snap away
Let me know what you think!
Happy week everyone!

What brilliant colours. You have a great eye to pick up on a subject like that.

John

Beautifully captured. I agree, so much texture in the shadows, water, and the brush.
Good luck to you as you move a family! There will so many grand adventures awaiting you!

Nice transition of colors here. It is a great abstract.
Thank you Sing, I really love the colors…whatever algae growing there made for a splendid display of colors mixed with the surroundings.
