Getting settled in and really enjoying the neighborhood. We’ve been in the house just over a week and we’ve met all of our neighbors…what a difference from our last neighborhood! Needless to say it is fun being welcomed and I look forward to what’s to come.
I had so many images to choose from this week, reason being I am late to post. I just couldn’t decide
First things first, major correction from last week…it’s a Chevy not a Ford!
My uncles would be so disappointed in me for my mistake
Oh well, in my defense…well I have none. I am sure I will continue to photograph this truck at different times of the day…I can’t get enough of it so here is its debut.
The kids are loving getting out more, and we have this lovely stone wall above our backyard…I LOVE it!!! Here she is, how could I not use this picture this week?
f/4.5 ss1/40 ISO200 85mm
And lastly, you know how I said we’ve met all our neighbors…well that includes our very close in proximity backdoor neighbors the Robins
Looking forward to the rest of this week and starting to feel like things are coming together.
Let me know what you think…
Happy week everyone! ♥

You always have the best shots! Love the portrait shot!
Your comment keeps me motivated so much Kevin, thank you!
nice pics here. i really love the one with the bird. nice to hear that you are getting settled in nicely in your new surroundings.
Thank you Don
Congratz on the move and settling in, it can certainly be a challenging moment in time.
Chevy/ford/old truck, I think it all works for the image!
I agree David…it’s a truck and it needs to be photographed enough said! Haha!
Thanks for stopping in
This makes me so happy, hearing you and the children are loving your new digs! And a backyard, ah . . . I’m afraid those are a rare commodity around these parts.
The truck is splendid! I have always wanted an old beat up truck, preferably one that makes grunting noises that sound like flatulence. LOL.I’m a strange one, I know. And that robin, she is a lovely one; if you have a chance — and you won’t get pecked to death in the process — you should snap a few of her eggs. I would love to see!
Your girl . . . could she more more precious! Good job, mom!
Thank you for the lovely comment Cara. My daughter seems to always be smiling and I am sure it has to do with her just loving to be around all her big brothers trying to keep up with them, fun stuff!
I’m not sure there are anymore eggs in the nest to photograph. It may be hard to tell but in the photo she is feeding two tiny babies and she is a fierce protector of them
But we understand each other, well at least I think so. This past weekend as we were digging up the soil for our garden I was laying out grubs for her and she was more than willing to accept them!
Thanks for stopping in, I always love hearing from you!
