We’ve been outside all week! Love this time of year, so nice to be out of the house and enjoying the kids outside. We had a busy week planting our garden and still getting everything where we want things…yeah, it takes some time
We also made a trip over to Indianapolis for my little brother’s graduation from Heron School of Art and Design. He has amazing talent and I know will be a successful graphic designer, we are very proud of him!
First shot this week…A boy and his Tonka-Truck…enough said…I love this!

Little miss tomboy!
I was a tomboy growing up and her being surrounded by boys has got to help, good thing too…this mama knows nothing of cheer-leading and princesses LOL! Put a ball in my hand and I can show you a whole array of things though
Suffice it to say I love this not only because she is playing with the Tonka but I love the glow from it lighting her face as well.

This snap makes me smile…look at those faces as they let those trucks go…Love it! Makes me want to be a kid again…

And lastly I had to include one of my brother and his nephews! I love the lighting in the background and it is just a fun shot. Getting 2.5 year olds to look at you is a challenge but it still works. Oh and please excuse the car in the background…I don’t have content aware in my photoshop program and I am new to lightroom so not sure if it can remove it without it being so obvious. I know the focus is just off but I still like how it came out…well aside from that darn car :|
Hope you like these as much as I do, as always I love any tips and love to hear any thoughts.
Happy week all! ♥

I love your blog Ninali, I’m sat in a queue in the Indian takeaway and this weeks entry has put a smile on my face.
Thank you
No, Thank you Richard!! What a compliment
I could read that over an over… I am so humbled by your comment and it brings a smile to my face. I greatly appreciate that you take the time to visit.
That second shot of your little girl is too cute. I see the glow. Congrats to your brother!
Isn’t it a fun shot?
I appreciate the comment Kevin and thanks for the congrats. He is so talented and I wish he had a blog, you should see his photos and what he does with HDR…man, if I had to do it again I know where I would channel my education, I am jealous(but happy) of him following his passion and wish I would have as well instead of taking the well beaten path.
all are very nice, but i’m partial to the group photo with the lion. the tree in the background certainly gives it depth or texture. i couldn’t say which one it is for sure.
Thank you Don. I think that tree and the magnificent light filtering through gives the photo both…good eye
I wish I had nailed the focus like I said but still very fond of it.
Nice outdoor shots!
Thanks Jennifer
So many great moments captured, Ninali! Your photos — and your subjects — are full of life and vibrancy, drawing out the magic in each photo.
The shot of your little girl is precious, and I just LOVE the look of sheer and utter joy on those boys faces as they watch their trucks go! Oh, to be that excited at something so simple . . . You are right; it does make you want to be a child again — badly! And then I think, we don’t have to lose that part of ourselves completely. Having children likely energizes that dormant childlike-ness essence of us. I will have to be content for puppy-youth for now, though.
Congratulations to your brother!
Have a lovely day, Ninali.

You are right Cara, there is no need to forget those feelings and act upon them. Tthat’s why when I put my camera back inside, I marched up that hill, plopped myself down and let go of trucks like the best of them
Have a blessed day sweet friend
Love the action shot of the trucks!
Thanks David…that shot fills my heart with joy
